Halifax, NS – June 1, 2007 – New Castle Hotels & Resorts is pleased to announce the appointment of Carol Peters, Signature Resorts Sales Manager. Peters, a hospitality professional with over 10 years experience, has assumed the role and will be responsible for group sales for the three Nova Scotia Signature Resorts including Digby Pines, Liscombe Lodge and Liscombe Lodge.
“I am delighted to be representing the Nova Scotia Signature Resorts,” said Peters. “This is an exciting time for me, both personally and professionally. I look forward to making my contribution to the work of the team.”
Most recently, Peters was the Catering, Sales & Marketing Manager for The Grafton Connor Group. Prior to that, Peters was the Director of Catering for Chefs by DESIGN Inc, and held several food service and catering positions at the Holiday Inn Select Halifax Centre.

Peters is an active participant in industry associations such as Destination Halifax, Restaurant Association of Nova Scotia, Offshore Technology Association of Nova Scotia, Taste of Nova Scotia and the Tourism Industry Association of Nova Scotia. She has also been the Chair for the Hospitality Industry Partners Association.
