Come Explore and Experience the Magic of Liscombe Lodge!!!!

Rise' n' shine Power Walk
Become energized by participating in an early morning walking excursion around the Lodge property. Enjoy the natural beauty of the Eastern Shore with one of our Recreation Staff.
 
Guided Nature Hike
Let our nature enthusiasts take you on a Nova Scotia adventure into the outback of the Liscombe River Trail. They will provide interesting history of the area, show you intriguing plants and vegetation that grows in Nova Scotia and perhaps you might spot an animal or two.
 
Trash to Treasure Crafts
Help us go GREENER! Recycling is good for the environment and we are always trying to be creative. Enjoy craft projects using recycled materials.
 
Movie Under the Stars
Come and join us for a family movie in the great outdoors. Bring a blanket or some lawn chairs and of course don't forget the bug spray and we'll provide the popcorn and entertainment.
                                                           
Obstacle Course
Another great way to get outside and keep active. Running, jumping, and climbing are great ways for everyone to stay in shape and to have fun.

Rainy Day Activities
Too chilly? Too rainy? If your kids can't enjoy the great outdoors, they can have fun inside with these activities, including puzzles, games, quizzes, arts and crafts, and more.
 
Aqua Fit
Come join us for an hour of aerobic fun in the pool. Classes can accommodate all fitness levels. There is limited availability so sign up early.
 
Crafty Creations
Enjoy a craft project. A great activity for all ages. Bring your family and your creativity.
 
Scavenger Hunt
How well can you follow the clues? Join members of the Activities staff to see who can be more creative in scavenging for items on your list.
 
Movie Night
Curl up with the kiddies, with a big bowl of popcorn and enjoy a movie. Don't forget a pillow and blanket.
 
Games Night
Come to the Wadd's lounge to play board games and card games with your family and others.
 
BIG Game of Chess
Join us for a game of chess outside. Partner up, play as a team or by yourself. Who will be the CHESS CHAMPION?

Field and Pool Games
Join the recreation staff for some fun and challenges. Join in a game of soccer, bocce ball, badminton, aquatic games or tennis

Kids Bedtime Storytime
Let the kids come in pj's to Wadd's Lounge and enjoy a story from one of our resident storytellers in front of the fire before they set off to bed. Don't forget your pillow, blanket and a glass of milk if you want.

Liscombe Discovery Cruise
Take a relaxing pontoon ride along the Liscombe River channel and out to open water with our marina supervisor Chester who can tell you stories of the area, points of interest, and perhaps you might see a seal and bald eagle.

Family Bonfire
This evening event provides guests with a bonfire, stories and s'mores. Bring your lawn chair, blanket and beverages.
 
Tie Dye Social
Each design is always different and one can't predict the end result with certainty. The surprise is part of the fun. Tie-dyeing is a great way to give new life to an old or stained t-shirt and recycling a few shirts this way will give you a head start on building your back-to-school wardrobe. Bring an old t-shirt or start with a new one and make your own creation to wear. 
 
Cookie Decorating
The best kinda craft ever... the kind you can make and then eat! YUMMY! Get creative! Come and decorate your own sugar cookie with our delicious homemade icing.

Build a Backyard Volcano
Explore science in the great outdoors. Build a live volcano! Sound tricky? You'll be surprised.

Souvenir Bingo
Join us for a game of bingo but the winner takes home a souvenir of Nova Scotia or Liscombe Lodge Resort and Conference Centre. Good Luck!
 
Teen Spa Hour
Dream away the afternoon in our TeenSpa room. You and your friends can sample the hottest product trends in health and beauty, catch up over smoothies or just relax with the newest magazines. Designed for teens only (ages 12-17).

Kid's Adventure Camp out
Kids! Come and join us for an evening of fun. Be ready for an evening of bonfire, stories, water games, a campfire cookout and much, much, more. Don't forget your sleeping bag because the tents will be set up for when you get tired!  Small fee required.

Geocaching
Find the hidden treasures (called geocaches) on our trails, while learning about this new sport. Brush up on your old-school map and compass skills and learn the new-school skills of GPS (Global Positioning System).

"Sundae" Social
We all scream for ice cream. So take the entire family and enjoy this tasty event.  We supply all the fun ingredients and you make your own sundae.

Wadd's Library
Commander Wadd’s spent his last years, reading books of British history and politics. We created a collection of books for audiences big and small. Grab a book, pull up a rocking chair or a piece of grass and lose yourselves in an exciting plot.
 
Hoards of Boards
Games that is! Our recreation team will be happy to get one that can challenge a friend at. A list is at the front desk.
 
Recreation Building
Full of indoor table games - indoor shuffleboard, air hockey, pool, and foozball.
 
Pool and Fitness Centre
Indoor swimming pool and fitness room. Hot tubs and sauna as well.
 
Outdoor games
